FIBREGUARD
FibreGuard is our unit specializing in Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS). The primary applications include pipeline leak detection, pipeline security, intrusion detection, seismic studies, monitoring of telecom wells in combination with our FibreConnect accessories and various others. With various models and a maximum range of 100km, FibreGuard is one of our most multirole units available.
FIBRELEAK
FibreLeak is our unit specializing in Distributed Temperature Sensing. Registering rapid fluctuations in temperature properties, it is one of our most advanced and reliable solutions for pipeline leak detection. It is applicable to oil, gas and water pipelines. Various models are available, with a maximum range of 50km.
FIBRESTRAIN
FibreStrain is our unit specializing in Distributed Deformation Monitoring. Its primary and only task is the monitoring of the structural integrity of complex infrastructure. Applicable, but not limited to; bridges, dams, high power electrical towers, pipelines, railways and tunnels.
FIBRECONNECT
FibreConnect is an accessory, designed to be used in conjunction with FibreGuard. Its task is to integrate any digital sensor with our DAS system, making the possibilities limitless. It can be used as a standalone system, for monitoring telecom wells, for example. Alternatively, it can be used to further enhance the capabilities of FibreGuard, for example it opens the possibility to add gas analyzers to a system tasked with gas pipeline leak monitoring, creating yet another level of monitoring.
FOSM MONITORING COMPLEX
All of our FibreUnits form part of our FOSM monitoring complex. The complex features our FOSM Logic Module Cabinet, equipped with all of the necessary accessories for effective, efficient and redundant system operation, such as UPS Reserve Power Supply. Additionally, forming part of the complex is our Operator’s Monitoring Station (OMS), with monitoring possibilities onsite or remotely, depending on client requirements. Last but not least, the complex features the single mode fibre optic cable, preferably armored, yet this is dependent on the client’s requirements. Our system is compatible with any G652D Single Mode Fibre Optic cable, therefore, we are able to use existing cable on site, provided it is placed according to our system’s requirements and has sufficient cores available.
ADDITIONAL POSSIBILITIES
Petrofibre Arabia specializes in delivering tailored solutions - those that do not simply match the client’s requirements, but surpass them. Our engineering design and technical team can adapt our solution to specific site conditions. This Includes, but is not limited to; autonomous field shelters, featuring all the necessary hardware for autonomous and independent system use, or all-weather field cabinets, which are able to tolerate temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius.
