Fibre optic intrusion detection for plant boundaries, buried assets and restricted zones — continuous along the line, with no powered devices in the field.
FibreGuard detects and locates intrusion events along a buried or fence-mounted fibre, distinguishing the acoustic signature of a person, a vehicle or an excavation from routine background activity.
Since the sensing element is passive optical fibre, there is no electronics, no power and no maintenance burden distributed across the monitored line — an advantage across long perimeters and in hazardous areas.
